It is advised to use a Singapore lawyer when undertaking property investment in Singapore. Healy Consultants will independently liaise with, and supervise, the Singapore lawyers to ensure the transaction process runs smoothly. Our Singapore office will efficiently and effectively project manage all legal matters and shelter our client from daily legal correspondence. Specifically, the managed processes include:
Advising on the strengths of local laws to protect asset ownership by foreign investors.
Create a legal engagement agreement between the client and the Singapore lawyers outlining roles and responsibilities, terms and conditions and legal fees.
Collect the necessary due diligence from the Singapore lawyer to ensure our client is adequately protected.
Establish and monitor the key legal dates of execution, such as the settlement date and date of handover of keys.
Ensure our client’s lawyer is frequently communicating with all parties to the property transaction including mortgage bank (Healy Consultants works with respected international banks in Asia including DBS Bank, UOB Bank, ANZ Bank and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia), local government institutions and counterpart lawyers.
